1-2-1 Training
If you have a specific training requirement, we offer limited 1-2-1 training slots in Portsmouth city. We can help you with many different training requirements - from loose lead walking, to reactivity, to recall.
At Darwin’s Dog Training School, we are passionate about helping dogs and their owners build strong and rewarding relationships. Our 1-2-1 training slots allow us to customise your training to the specific needs of your dog, ensuring the best possible results for each and every one of our clients. We believe that training should be an enjoyable experience for both dog and owner, so we strive to make each session fun and rewarding. Whatever your goals are, investing time in your training is essential.

We typically conduct 1-2-1 training slots either out in public walking areas, or in the client's home, depending on the training objective. All 1-2-1 training enquiries will be evaluated before we offer our services. If we are not able to help, we may refer you on to another professional who can.
We use science-led, reward-based training methods in all our classes and 1-2-1 training services. Please note, we do not permit punitive training equipment or methods. Please do not bring aversive equipment to our sessions, including but not limited to: prong collars, choke chains, slip leads, electric collars (E-collars), spray collars, spray bottles, ‘Pet Corrector’, training discs or rattle cans.

Our availability for 1-2-1 training is limited and preference will be given to existing clients. If you are able to make sessions in the daytime during the week, we are more likely to be able to fit you in.
