Terms and Conditions

By booking any services with us, you agree to abide by the below terms and conditions.

Ethos Policy

​

We pride ourselves on using effective, non-punitive training methods in our classes. We ask that when attending our training classes, and when training at home, you follow the below training policies. 

​

1. We cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury or damage to person or property.

​

2. We do not permit punitive training equipment or methods. Please do not bring aversive equipment to our classes, including but not limited to prong collars, choke chains, electric collars (E-collars), spray collars, spray bottles, ‘Pet Corrector’, training discs or rattle cans. 

​

3. We ask that a well-fitted harness and/or a flat collar with a clip-on lead are used during training classes. Equipment that tightens or impedes the dogs movement, for example slip leads or figure-of-8 head collars, are not recommended during training. 

​

4. Owners must come prepared to clean up after their dogs. Owners must keep dogs under control and on-lead at all times, unless instructed otherwise. Owners accept all responsibility for their dog. 

​

5. Some of our training venues have areas of uneven flooring or low headroom. We primarily work in areas with even flooring and typical headroom, but owners must be aware of their surroundings at all times. Please wear appropriate footwear for uneven flooring. Owners must follow any and all instruction provided regarding access limitations in any venue. Please dress appropriately for the weather if we are working outside.

6. If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact us to make us aware.

 

7. We are happy to welcome children into training. Under-16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times. It is important that children understand the importance of listening during a training, and in the case of group classes, not disrupting the working dogs and owners.

8. Owners must not bring their dog to training sessions if they are unwell or in-season. Dogs must be free of parasites and vaccinated as per the advice of their vet. Dogs must wear collar tags and be microchipped in accordance with the law. 

​

Payment Policy 

​

Payment for training is required at time of booking to secure your place. Payment can be made by online payment on this website. Alternatively, we can accept bank transfers to the below account. Please contact us for cash or cheque payments.

Cancellation Policy 

​

1. In the event you are unable to make a 1-2-1 training session, please let us know as soon as possible to allow us to open the slot up to other customers. 

​

2. 1-2-1 training sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice before the scheduled start date and time will be charged at the full rate. 

​

3. 1-2-1 training sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours notice before the scheduled start date and time will be rescheduled to a date and time that we mutually agree upon. 

​

4. Any rescheduled 1-2-1 training sessions must be redeemed within 6 weeks of the originally booked training session date. 

​

5. We regret that training sessions provided as part of a group training class cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. We will endeavour to provide the training material for the missed class for you to replicate at home. 

​

6. Mantrailing sessions must be paid for at time of booking. Your place is not secured until payment is received.

 

7. In mantrailing, we work outdoors in all weathers. In the event of weather that is unsafe to work dogs in, we may change venue at late notice, or cancel the session. If your session is cancelled by us, you will be offered a rescheduled session, or a refund.

8. In the event you are unable to make a mantrailing session, please let us know as soon as possible to allow us to open the slot up to other customers.

​

9. We regret that mantrailing sessions are non-refundable. If you cannot make a session, we will endeavour to sell your space to waiting clients, in which case we will be able to offer you a refund. If we cannot fill the space, we will not be able to offer you a refund. 

​

10. No fees will be refunded outside of the examples given above.

​

Termination of Services 

​

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. 

​
